Week 3, Thing 6
I just spent some time looking at Mashup sites. I like the Spell with Flickr as well as the Trading Card Maker. I am just not sure of how I would use the applications other than personally. Although as I sit here I am thinking it might be fun to use the Trading Card Make with the DCF books. I think the kids would enjoy creating Trading Cards.

Oh, I think that would be a fantastic DCF tie-in. I had thought of using the trading card idea for the public library summer reading program, to make their own "bug" trading cards. But they could also read a bug book and make the card a mini book report promoting the book. Cool! Rhonda
I like the DCF thinking. Maybe we could figure out a way to do interlibrary swapping.
